Stirling Cryogenics is looking for an International Service Engineer with a strong electrical and technical background to strengthen its international service team.
Stirling Cryogenics is a global pioneer in cryogenic technology. Originally part of Philips, the company has developed into a leading supplier of advanced cryogenic systems, with more than 4,000 installations operating in over 50 countries worldwide.
Our technology enables gases such as nitrogen, oxygen and methane to be liquefied at extremely low temperatures. Stirling systems are used in a wide range of industries and applications, including biological storage, research, superconductivity, LNG and biogas.
From our headquarters at Eindhoven Science Park in Son, we support customers and partners around the world with sales, engineering and service expertise.
As an International Service Engineer, you are Stirling Cryogenics' technical representative at customer locations worldwide.
You work independently and take responsibility for getting sophisticated installations up and running and keeping them performing at their best. At the same time, you can always rely on the expertise and support of our service and engineering teams in the Netherlands.
International travel is an important part of the position. You can expect to travel approximately 50% of your working time, generally for periods of no more than two consecutive weeks.
Installation & Commissioning
You install and commission advanced Stirling Cryogenics systems at customer locations and ensure that installations are operating correctly and safely.
Maintenance & Repair
You perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues and carry out repairs on sophisticated cryogenic installations.
Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting
You analyse complex electrical, mechanical and control-related problems and determine the appropriate solution. When necessary, you work closely with our engineering specialists to resolve challenging technical issues.
Continuous Improvement
Based on your practical experience in the field, you proactively contribute ideas to improve service processes, maintenance methods and the reliability of our systems.
You are an independent and practical technical professional who enjoys taking responsibility. You are comfortable working at customer locations and know how to represent a technical organisation professionally.
Because you will frequently work internationally, a flexible, customer-focused and service-oriented mindset is essential.
